Liz was the most open-hearted and courageous person I have ever known. I loved her passionate advocacy for rights, justice and honesty which she combined easily with her love of music, poetry, art and literature. So many many people will miss her joyful presence. Carmel

The word that comes to mind when I think of Eliz is 'bold'. She was an inspirational woman in the truest sense, intelligent, forthright, funny, the most articulate person with a wonderful way with words. She was kind, thoughtful, artistic and a wonderful person to be around. She hated to be called a 'lady', and gave me courage to object to that too. She knew so much about so many things, knew so many interesting people, and told many a story that would have you in stitches. She will be so missed.
